Details: 'The Session Clerk produced a letter under the hand of William Robertson Session Clerk of the Kirk Session of Blair Atholl, bearing that James Maclauchlan had been duly summoned to appear here this day to answer the accusation formerly made against him by Anne Conacher charging him to be the father of her Pregnancy.
James Maclauchlan was called & did not appear Anne Conacher appeared in obedience to an order of the Kirk Session of Dunkeld this day, they did appoint their clerk to write to the Kirk Session of Blair Atholl, that he may be summoned pro secundo to attend the Kirk Session of Dunkeld at dunkeld on Sunday the 4 of March with certification, that if he did not then appear he will be held as confessing his guilt. The said Anne Conacher was summoned apud acta to appear before the Kirk Session of Dunkeld on said day'

Details: 'The Clerk produced a letter from Jame MacLauchlan, declining for certain reasons therein alledged, to appear before the Kirk Session of Dunkeld. J MacLauchlan having been twice summoned and failed to appear the Kirk Session authorise their Clerk to cause summon James McLauchlan for the third time before the Kirk Session of Dunkeld on Sunday the 18th of March, immediately after divine Service in the forenoon, with certification that if he shall then fail to appear, he will be held as consumacious & proceeded against accordingly.
Anne Conacher having been summon[e]d to appear this day, it was stated that she had this morning been delivered of a female child, & consequently was unable to attend.'

Details: 'It was informed by Mr Henning the Session Clerk that he had received a letter from James McLauchlan stating that he was willing to pay and actually had paid the small fine imposed upon him of 13/14d - at the same time acknowledging his guilt with Anne Conache, and at same time requesting absolution, the Kirk Session considering that this is a case of Adultery, with many aggravation whilst the Kirk Session therefore remit the case, as they hereby do, to the Kirk Session of Blair Atholl, where he now resides, that they may deal therein as they shall see cause, taking all the circumstances of the case into consideration. The Kirk Session request their Clerk to send a copy of this minute to the Kirk Session of Blair Atholl.'
