Fatal Accident Inquiries
Fatal Accident Inquiries were introduced under the Fatal Accident Inquiry (Scotland) Act 1895. We have begun indexing a range of records relating to Fatal Accident Inquiries (FAIs). At present we have over 15,000 entries from the Registers of Fatal Accident Inquiries (NRS reference AD12/13-15). This index should include all FAIs from March 1918 to May 1942.
